West arrived nice and early of course, and he had snacks on hand given he had no earthly clue if being a Quidditch Commentator was something that would be exhausting and stuff. He was sure it'd make him hungry since eeeeeeeeeverything made him hungry, so really it was just common sense to come prepared. His sandwiches though. Just saying. Not in the business of sharing for a 5 galleon entry fee.

... not that he had to pay it, but then that was kind of WHY he'd volunteered for this whole gig. Free was good even if you technically had to work for it. Just fyi to any mindreaders out there: he planned to work AWESOMELY.

He put the 5 galleons through the turnstile and went on through. Or well, not went so much as sauntered, which was still.... wenting.

"Sup." To you. And to you. People he knew. Which was... like everyone essentially. He went to the commentary box and set up shop. Setting up shop consisted of arranging his sandwiches, putting a comfy cushion on the wooden bench to sit on, and making sure he had the best spot.

SO THIS MICROPHONE THEN... or horn... speaker-into-thingy West eyed it and then tapped it curiously. Did he have to use a Sonorous charm? did it work on its -- SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Oh it worked on its own. Cool, cool.

"I meant to do that." He informed the growing crowd casually. "Just seeing if you're all AWAKE and READY for this, Hogwarts!"

And he was already bored so... why not get the crowd amped yeah? Or try to. He just casually assumed they'd be all into it.
"If you're here to cheer for the STAFF, let me hear you make some NOISE!"

He put his hand around his ear theatrically and looked behind him. Hmmm? Who was cheering for the Staff team hmmmmmmmmm? Were there TRAITORS in their MIDST?

"That was pretty loud but now I got a NEW question for all of you." He paused dramatically, "WHO HERE is cheering for the STUDENTS?" He cupped his ear again expectantly.
