He opened his mouth to say something else when Marci nudged him again and began another story about her and Stephanie when they went to this fake Weird Sisters concert. He waved goodbye to the Captain and walked away with his granddaughter, shoulders hunched over in defeat.

"I'm a very reasonable person," Alice informed Marci seriously. 'Cept, y'know, she wasn't just about to give away her best egg cap. She was still making sales, you know? "If there's an egg party here, you'll be the best accessorized, easily. But don't you think I need an accessory, too? Wouldn't want to be left out, now would I?" So she carefully took it off of her head, setting it down before pulling out her wand and performing the Doubling Charm with a flick of it. "Geminio."

And then there were two.

She picked up the duplicated hat and placed it on little miss Botros' head, adjusted it so that the overly large bill was askew on her golden hair, as to not cover her eyes. "You look awfully stylish. Best looking hat in all of Hogsmeade's on you." Alice beamed at them both and gave another wink to her Ancient Runes professor as he walked off, pocketing the ten galleons and then turning back to Vivi.

Could she convince her to buy the last three jars now?

'Course she could. Alice was just that good of an entrepreneur.
