O________O

Wheezing, there was wheezing happening and some hyperventilation and and finally a very loud shout of "VIVI!!!!!!!!"

Lex nearly knocked over her jars and a few of Mo's in her rush to get to the other side of the counter and when she did get there she latched on to the girl immediately. "You!!! It's really you!! Tell me this isn't some sort of hallucination brought on by sugar deprivation!!" Really she'd been at the stall all day without so much as a drop of sweets. It was a wonder she was functioning!!!!

But back to flailing over Vivi because this wasn't done nearly as often anymore. "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever!!!!! Did you miss me at all???? How've you been??? How come only Mo gets food, don't you care whether I eat anymore or not??? Have you gotten super secret missions yet???" And she took a breath before continuing. "Merlin! I'm glad you ran into us!!" And now she would probably never let go. Ah well.
Vivi should have been prepared for the little bundle of energy hitting her around the middle... or not so little, actually. Merlin, her baby lion was getting bigger and bigger. Vivi held Lex away from her body to look at her. "It's good to see you, Baby Lion, and you're so tall all of a sudden."

She hugged the girl again as she pulled her down the table to admire some of the other jars of eggs. "And I miss you. I brought chocolate frogs for you... they're in Mo's bag." What else? Work wasn't super exciting, so Lex wouldn't want to hear about that, and she thought it best not to mention Vickers directly. "Have you sold all your eggs?"

Would it be really awful of her to attempt to sell stuff to her ex-boyfriend's older sister or was that, like, off-limits? Nothing was off-limits, though. Ever.

"Did either of you see Selina here? She's supposed to meet me later." Would she want to buy eggs, too, maybe?

Conversational. Alice was being it today.
"She's around somewhere," Vivi turned her attention on little Alice. She TRIED TO be glarey, considering that this girl had behaved atrociously by leaving their flat in a sulk over the summer and never coming back. Plus the ruining of innocent baby Mo and his eternally sunny disposition. But she also had a sort of sad air to her, so Vivi leaned over the table and offered a hug.

"How much are your eggs selling for?"

Mo was just FINE with Vivi moving off to love on other people, even if those people were Lex and Alice. He turned his attention back to the street and the few customers/potential customers wandering past. Once again, he held up a jar and shook it gently at a middle-aged man who was foolish enough to make eye contact.

"Ashwinder eggs? You're putting food into the mouths of starving orphans and starving non-orphans and also some really well-fed kids," Mo grinned broadly and proffered the jar.

The man just frowned at him, so Mo tried again. "They're freshly laid and dead useful in potions. Or you could let them hatch and see what comes out. That's what I would do." Still no response. "Five galleons a jar, but I'll sell you two jars for nine." It was a good deal, no?

"For eight," the man offered, pulling out his money and showing it to the young Ravenclaw. "Two for eight."

"For eight," Mo agreed handing over the two jars and snatching up the money before the man had a chance to change his mind.
