Really. “Those things…they make me think of those reflex testers muggle doctors use on kids,” she said with a laugh.
My bum? She snorted and laughed at the word. “Silly, I was saying but and um…didn’t mean to say that” she’d just never talk about that nope. Never. “Oh that’s…” she stopped herself as he opened the door for her and pulled the seat out for her. Wait, was this a date? But he had said it wasn’t girly. “Oh, um…thank you” she smiled over to him.
“Oooh…” she thought as she glanced at the list. “I um…chamomile sounds good, its calming” she added with a nod. That would be perfect for the idea of doing a reading right? Perfect. “W-what are you getting?” She asked as she nervously glanced at the table in front of her and stared at her fork. “You know sporks are weird” she ended up nervously muttering to her friend. “I mean…they make more sense then knorks because knorks can cut your mouth” yep she was blabbering and muttering weird things. “Oooh, we should get an ice cream sundae maybe later…or cream teas? Tea and scones?” She offered the options she spotted really they were just easy options. “I ugh lets do the tea! Because when was the last time we had a real scone and not some gross thing at school?” She offered her mouth watering at the idea of a chamomile tea and scones.
When she made that noise, all Kaiden could do was laugh at his friend. "But you do have one." He said pointing to her throat. Yep. "You talk all like this." he said in an exaggerated deep voice. "And why does it make you think of that?" He said, still using the voice.
"Oh" he said frowning, and turning in a circle like a dog, trying to look at his bum. "I thought you said it was girly" That would be bad right?
When she thanked him from holding the door open for her and pushing her seat in and all that, He patted her on the yeah. "You're welcome." He was supposed to do that too right? Be nice and stuff?
IT was calming? "Maybe you should have that all the time." He said giving her a grin. Since she was such a jitterbug and all. He gazed around the place real quick, seeing what others had. What he saw though wasn't the food. There wasn't a whole lot of people here, they all seemed to be dating sort of people. This was... weird... "I think... I'll get the same thing." he said, now that he was feeling all nervous.
Wait, sporks? That was random. "I don't know, I think they're cool. I don't know wat that Knork thinks is though." He watched her go off, and found her amusing and cute as always. "Oh, well, I don't know what cream tea is, but Ice cream sounds good... Maybe after though?" Cold and hot didn't seem to go well together. "Yeah, I know what you mean. So Tea and Scones, and some of those sandwiches?" he asked. Because he wanted food, good food that didn't come from Hogwarts. Shifting awkwardly, he slid his foot further under the table. Not with any intention, just trying to not feel so weird about being here.
