Ethan looked up from the menu and gave her a slightly distracted nod as he thought about what he wanted to eat. So she had not been here either.. well, he supposed they'd figure out together if the place was any good. But either way, he knew they'd have a good time just being together. His eyes fell back to the menu for a moment as he narrowed down his choices, then he looked back up at her as she mentioned what she might order. "That doesn't sound bad, actually.." he said, slowly nodding as he mulled over his own choices. "I'm thinking Sausage Roll and a piece of cheesecake actually sounds good to me too.. and a cup of coffee, of course," he said with a grin. And he only had one cup this morning so not too likely to be overly hyper from the caffeine.

He glanced around for any sign of the server, then turned back to Minerva as she spoke, tilting his head to listen curiously. "Oh.. um, I guess I just assumed you'd want to come with me over break again," he started a bit sheepishly. "I probably shouldn't assume though.. What did you want to do for winter break?" he asked as he sat the menu down on the table. "You're welcome to come to Germany with me and stay with my family." He knew his mother had already planned on an extra guest for the holidays. "But I'd understand if you wanted to spend it with your own family.." Though that week they spent apart over summer had been hard enough.. this was nearly two weeks.
