... which was where? In a large tent with most everything set up as needed. And students yelling and trying to sell the eggs. West had decided a different approach was needed. For starters : research. West had checked and knew that
a single Ashwinder egg cost 1 galleon at Slug and Jiggers, so a jar with at least five Ashwinder eggs in it was reasonable at 5 galleons a pop.
He spread out a
green tablecloth over top of the work area he'd been assigned and arranged the jars of eggs on top. Just to be different and catch the eye mind you. After that West covered every single jar with a black cloth.
Finally he sat back and put his
sunglasses on and waited.
How mysterious.
Dylan...wasn't too siked about spending some of the Hogsmeade weekend selling eggs. Truth be told, if it were up to him, he'd had personally keep all the ashwinder eggs for himself...and count them as money saved. Surely the Slytherin would find potions to used them in...or just use them for experimentation. There was that, too.
When he got to the center with everyone else, they'd already set up and he was just left to stare at all that they were doing. Did this mean he'd need to make sales pitches, too? That wasn't the line of work Dylan wanted to do...What did THAT matter?
Ugh. Why was he complaining so much? Ergh.
Of course, he had his bag with him...five jars of eggs carefully nestled down into it...He was already pulling his wand to conjure a table when the Captain caught sight of his newly renamed Chaser. Odessa.
"Mate, share a table with me?" It was a question, of course. Dylan didn't want to invade the younger boys space...just in case. They'd had a talk and all was well now...but one could never know about these things. Also, was sharing tables allowed? He had no idea...
...and why were the jars covered? He pondered all these things.
