Going through the steps in her head, Minerva retracted and then her face went from thinking to an ”Oohh” What a dumb dumb she was. How could she have forgotten to do that. Blushing a bit she looked up at Professor Knox, “I forgot to do the playback charm.” Yes that was a very big step to miss.

Looking at the book she took a deep breath and taped it, ” Intonio” Then she looked at the sentence that the professor had read so easily and tried to focus and keep her voice from being shaky. "In its original use, the word spagyric was commonly used synonymously with the word alchemy, however, in more recent timesithasoftenbeenadoptedby alternative medicine theorists and varioustechniquesof holistic medicine." She ran some of the words together talking a little quicker the she should have. Once she was finished, Min taped the book again.

Now was the time to see if she did it. Carefully she ran through the other words in her head, Intonio revelio, intonio revelio. This time she was not going to forget it. ” Intonio Revelio” tapping the book twice. Her own voice popped out of it . "In its original use, the word spagyric was commonly used synonymously with the word alchemy, however, in more recent timesithasoftenbeenadoptedby alternative medicine theorists and varioustechniquesof holistic medicine." Wow that sounded.. horrible. Her words were to quick and she couldn’t understand some of them, but hey at least it worked, that was a start she hoped. Looking at Professor Knox she waited to see what the woman would have to say.

Ivy continued to wait, holding her own clasped hands in front of her as the Hufflepuff tried to figure out what she had done wrong. Finally, she seemed to realize and Ivy nodded. "Yes. Now try again." If she concentrated enough, she would most likely be able to do it pretty well. This girl was indeed rather good with charms for her age. She had been able to play the first part of the sentence without even saying the incantation, so that was something. She just wasn't ready for that yet.

When Minerva started over, Ivy continued to stand there and watch. She could tell the girl was nervous, mostly by the way her voice shook and her words ran together. Finally, she watched and listened as she got the book to play her recording.

"Better," she said. "Good, actually, but you must speak clearly if you want to be able to understand what you just recorded." Ivy used her wand to shut the book and send it back to its place on the bookshelf. "That's it for today. If you want a few extra points, go practice over the next couple days, record something on an object, whether it be notes from a class or something from a book, say about... thirty seconds at the least. And then bring it to me, show me what you've done and we'll go from there." Ivy looked at the girl one last time to make sure she understood, and then she could go.

Seeee, who said Ivy Knox couldn't be nice? Pff.
