Really wasn't.
The older boy hesitated as he drew his wand out. When he pointed it at her, she was praying dear Merlin. OH please, the boy better not have slept through the classes as well. But turns out he did not. "OW AWESOME MAN!" she exclaimed. "You're so supercool faster than that cleaner" Clean, clear and confident. Her robes just sparkled. OH, no seriously, they didn't sparkle. She was just being over enthusiastic. And she had a weird feeling of tasting soap. HUH?
"I should really learn that one" she thought aloud. Yeah, don't want to go manual doing all those cleaning self stuff in common room. You can't always depend on the professor to lend you his vacuum cleaner.
Zeke carefully eyed the little girl and decided to go encourage her.
"You should, you should. It's very useful." Especially considering the current state of Hogwarts, they should be teaching all students the spell.
He began to walk back to the ladder. With his hands grasping the rope tightly, he moved up a step and looked back down at the girl.
"Oh, er...you coming?" She did intend to go up before she fell didn't she? Or did her mind change because of that muddy incident?
While waiting for an answer, Zeke was just hanging there. Yep, this was a perfect definition for what Muggles would call "hanging out."
