"Hey Ells!" GIRLFRIEND WAS HERE GIRLFRIEND WAS HERE. ... And she wanted hugs, yeah? He stood up and moved over towards her before wrapping his arms around her. "Happy anniversary, you," he whispered, "Erm... and you look beautiful, by the way." Yellow for Hufflepuff?

Also... "Oh, I have something for you!" he said, letting go of her and grinning some more.
Ella was nervous. Why, you ask? Because Alec looked really really nice and he'd dressed up and it hadn't escaped her notice that there were flowers on the table. And all of this plus the fact that he was smiling
at her and walking
towards her was a lot to take in.
Then hugs happened and Ella wrapped her arms around Alec, squeezing him gently. She pulled away after a moment but only a little. Only enough so that she could look up at him and smile.
And stare at his lovely face. "Happy anniversary." She whispered back, blushing slightly at what he said next.
"Thanks. I..I mean you look really great too." And she smiled as she reached up and tugged on his collar gently.

Blink.
"Yeah?" The blonde tilted her head and observed him curiously, noting how much he was smiling. It meant he was really happy, yeah?
"I have something for you too." Nodnod.
"Should we sit first?"
