She thought this was a complete joke when she brought her dirty things down to the laundry center. Were they actually serious? She had to wash these things by hand? At home they at least had those muggle washer and dryer thingy's that she was very proud to be able to say she knew how to use. Carrying her load of clothing and such she entered the room and looked around pulling a face as she did so. Merlin they hadn't been joking!

Now, the paying a knut to get into the common room was one thing and paying money to enter the great hall was ridiculous. Not to mention having to go and find her trunk that first night and clean her bed area just so she could sleep now this was ridiculous!

Plopping her clothing by one of the empty wash tubs. Could she just pay someone to do this disgusting job? Picking up her clothing one at a time she sorted the whites from the colours with a look of disgust on her face.
