Wait... wait... wait...

This was really weird because all he had to do was stand there and wait for the Ashwinder to rise but... he couldn't help but just stare at the fire. It was weird to see an emerald green fire. Really... really weird. It was as if everything else was blacked out for the time being and all he could see was the fi-

AARGH!

SOMETHING WAS COMING OUT OF THE- ... Oh, wait, no, that was meant to happen. He blinked a couple of times, trying to get rid of the weird dark circles he was seeing from the fire and trying to focus on the creature that was scurrying out instead. And he was meant to... follow this creature, right? Wasn't that sort of creepy?

...

He shrugged and followed the trail the creature was leaving behind, trying not to make any noise himself. When the creature came to a stop right near the edge of the forest, so did Alec and he just... watched. And waited. For the creature to do what it was meant to do. Because he was meant to be creepy like that.

Text Cut: The tasks!
  1. Choose a fire and add a few sprinkles of floo powder to it. This will create a magical fire. You may watch your fire but don't tend to it (unless you absolutely have to).
  2. Once the Ashwinder has risen from your fire, follow its ashy trail to the EDGE of the woods.
  3. Wait for the Ashwinder to collapse to dust.
  4. Cast the Freezing Charm on the eggs BEFORE touching or collecting them. You should wear protective gloves as an added precaution.
  5. Collect your eggs and place them in a glass jar. Label the glass jar with your name, house, and year and place it back on the table.
