Oh, see, THIS was the proper way to treat her. Immediately ask her in for tea. So, of course, Airey got a bigger smile, YET she wasn't beaming. No. He'd said something that had upset her. Sort of.
But tea was always nice.
"How thoughtful of you, Professor. Thank you." REALLY, thank you. The girl took the cup and did help herself some tea, even if Airey was the one who should be serving her the tea and all, but it was alright.
She also took a seat, without changing the location of ANYTHING. She didn't touch anything at all. Unlike the first time she'd been here...speaking of..., "Your office seems smaller...," she started to say, noticing something strange, "...there are less things in it." Or...was he keeping everything hidden and extremely organized? With those slippers? Probably not.
"I guess it doesn't matter much since we're all DYING." THIS was the primary reason for her visit. No smiles on her face, nope. |
