She was really good at egging people on, and plus, she was curious to know what the Charms professor's problem was.
Just like a good Slytherin...sending the Gryffindor in to battle.
"The dorm sounds like a good place, but remember--kneazles are roaming creatures," she pointed out. "Now Miss Cambridge, is there anything else I can do for you?" She raised her eyebrows in a questioning manner. 'Hmm?' those eyebrows seemed to say.
Lex went quiet, thinking over what the woman said. She
did want to find out, really she did and the Professor seemed to think it was a good idea. Then again, professors always thought it was a good idea once they weren't personally involved. She remembered what the Headmistress had asked her and Seri to do back in her first year.
Pffft, they were all the same.
"I suppose I'll ask her, do you recommend I ask her in a public setting where she's less likely to hex me into next year...?" Important question right there. Professor Barlow would know more about the woman than she would so she'd know whether witnesses mattered to the woman or not.
And there you had it, the confirmation she'd always suspected.
"Oh trust me, I know." About them being roaming creatures of course.
"He's into the habit of hunting other people's pets, is there anything I could do about that? He's taken a particular liking to my best friend's pygmy puff."....She went on thinking. If there was anything else she needed to know, now would be a good time, yeah...but other than those two questions, she figured that was it.
"Um..nothing more I think..." She'd leave once those questions were answered! Nodnodnod.
