A small smile. Not a beaming one. That was all he got at the moment. And the smile was just because of the tea he was holding. She could use some tea, you know?
What on earth were those? Her eyes went to the slippers...and her smile grew a bit bigger. Also, what's the deal with the kid cleaning up stuff? He could be far more useful somewhere else.
