Sherman fidgeted with his hands at all the bank talk, his thoughts still flickering to his wife, who he STILL hadn't interrogated about this all yet. And he needed to. Did they know he was married to the bank manager? Did that help any? No? Okay.
Turnstiles, though, right. "I agree. I like Carter's idea of reaching out to the community again, since our last fundraiser seemed to go especially well. Also, I'm sure parents will be more than willing to assist, seeing their children's educations are at stake, but I politely disagree with ideas of directly extracted payment from the young ones." So Mr. Clark wasn't in favor of the paying, along with everyone else, not to mention the WHINING letters he'd received (Merlin, those were a pain).
