"Hogsmeade needs to get here soon, I still need to owl Daddy asking for more money." So she could afford the candy when they got there. Being in a candy shop without money was one of the easiest ways to make her go mad.

...Hm? The three broomsticks. That place had good food, didn't it?

"Mhm, definitely! It'll be a welcomed change from our castle diet!" And good on him for thinking it up as well. Candy and ice-cream were getting her nowhere. She burnt off most of the sugar by the time she went for a run around the castle walk.

Then as if by pure reflex she dipped into her pocket for a chocolate frog but of course, all her candy was back in her dorm. SIIIIGH. It was probably for the best. "How much candy do you have left?"
"You should owl him now." While she was just sitting here. Before she forgot. Because it really WAS the worst to go into a candy shop without money. Especially for Lex. And especially cause he'd probably be the one in there with her and frankly, he didn't want to deal with a mad Lex.

Although, of course, if it came to that, he'd probably just fork over some of his own money. Or split his own candy. Or whatever.

Aidan grinned at her. "Brilliant!" He was STARVED for chicken. Nuggets. The Three Broomsticks BETTER have chicken nuggets. And a cold butterbeer sounded amazing.

How much candy did he have left? The boy turned away from her to look off at the water for a moment. "Some," he shrugged, "It's not like I've counted it." But he noticed her movement and dug into his own pocket, producing a chocolate frog. "And now one less," he teased, handing it over to her.
