Oakey headed up to Divinations and looked up the Ladder that lead to the classroom, he smiled. This smiled was because of how often he had used one over the summer. This one wasn't going to fall backwards on him though. He hoped the Bishops did not take it down yet while he was away.
Oakey popped open the trapdoor and looked around the class for an open chair. Conviently there was one at a small round table just beside his roommate Jory! "Hello Professor Elwood" Oakey gave the the Divinations Professor a nod then took the seat beside his fellow Hufflepuff. "Hi Jory, so was it you who cleaned our dorm room a few weeks ago?"
He was wondering how their room, had ended up so neat and tidy compared to everywhere else in the dorm, and in the common room. The only possible explanations were Jory, or Toodles finally got around to some cleaning.
Jory's mind had been on ice cream- chocolate flavour to be exact- when he became aware of someone taking a seat next to him.
"Hallo, Oakey,'' he greeted his friend. He hadn't gotten around to speaking a lot with him this year even though they shared a dorm. Speaking of the dorm.
"Yup,'' Jory replied.
"Couldn't sleep in it with it being in that condition.'' Work still had to be done as it wasn't as clean as it would have been if the house elves were there but he had that vacuum from Astronomy.
"So, how was your summer?'' Oh yes! One more thing.
"How's Head Boy status treating you?''
