Ethan was thankful it was still rather warm this time of day as he headed outside for class, because as much as he liked to be outside and the vicinity, he didn't much care for cold.. unless he was skiing. His eyes found the new CoMC professor and he gave her a nod in greeting as he watched her.. eating an ice cream cone. Somehow that struck him as odd, but he didn't give it a whole lot of thought. "Hello, Professor," he greeted her as he walked past. "Welcome to Hogwarts."
Turning to find a seat, green eyes scanned the area. Vaguely familiar faces present so far and he gave a small smile to any of them who might have caught his eye in his search. Soon finding an empty bench, he lowered himself upon it, placing his messenger bag on the ground next to him.
Minerva made her way down to Care of magical creatures. She was kind of sad to loose the old professor, but kept an open mind that this professor would be nice and interesting as well. They seemed to have changed Care Professors a few times since she had been there. Min wondered if the animals were that hard, or if it was just a job that no one really wanted.
Making her way down to class she noticed the new professor and smiled,
"Hello ma'am, I'm Minerva Wheatborn, welcome to Hogwarts." As she greeted the professor she saw exactly where she was going to sit out of the corner of her eye.
Turning she headed straight for the open spot on a bench next to a certain Ravencalw. Smiling and saying quick hellos to other classmates, she finally turned to Ethan,
"You keep getting to class first.. I'm starting to think I'm rubbing off on you a bit." She smiled and then turned to get ready for the lesson to start.
