After the little owner-gargoyle bonding moment at the payment center (and Gary learnt a new trick, yo!) Kat made her way to the Slytherin House Table. She took a seat at one of the places not occupied and placed her gargoyle on the table. "Sit," she told the gargoyle and it did. Hmm... it felt like she was some Muggle and Gary was her dog. Well, at least it obeyed her right? Now she could eat without having to keep watching out for her gargoyle.

However Kat stared at the food on the table (it was dusty and EW!) and raised an eye. She was hungry for food. Like... the food she remembered from LAST TERM. Did they really have to sell all of the things in Hogwarts, even the food huh? She didn't get it. They were missing something about the story the Headmistress had said during the feast. She was missing a part or two of what they needed to know. What happened to the money they got from that fundraiser last term? Kat remembered all those auctions and stuff. Where did those go?

Kat's stomach was grumbling, which mean she had no choice but to eat. Well, porridge was better than nothing. She took a few spoons of it and immediately swallowing them so that she didn't have to taste it. Eek. She managed to take a few sips of water, but examined before pouring it into her glass. Not dirty.

So her gargoyle... right. She needed to train this little fella. "Okay, Gary, stand up," she told the gargoyle and it obeyed her. What else could she make her gargoyle do, hmm? Oh! "Do a cartwheel." And Gary did so. Awesome. Kat petted her gargoyle. "You're making me proud, dude."

"Finite!" Kat casted and Gary froze immediately. Hmm... where to go today? You know, while she still had time.
