Isobel had kind of thought it wasn't going to work anyway, but she felt the need to defend the idea now that Tora was against it. What was the word for that, devil's advocate? "I suppose that's possible, but if you made sure to do it when nobody else was around?" Yeah, she was defending a failure of an idea, so she conceded thoughtfully. "Okay, fine, you're right. Neither idea would work, really."
The broomstick idea was pretty good, and Isobel leaned in in interest. "That could work! I don't actually have a broom, though, if I remember correctly first years aren't allowed to." It wasn't a big deal, though, it was possible they could borrow some after a flying lesson, maybe ask the teacher. No, wait, that wouldn't work either, a teacher wouldn't do anything to keep Hogwarts from profiting. Well anyway, if they could obtain broomsticks somehow, it would be a good idea. Still... she took a closer look at the windows. "They don't actually look like they open, though. The windows, that is." Oh right. No broomsticks... "Maybe we could get an older student to lend them to us? Or use the schools?" Tora mused. "Oh, and about those windows... maybe we could take them out and fit them with hinges?" It sounded like a lot of work, but really there must be a spell to make that easier! "I was born in the UK, hence my accent -which I think I told you about on the train?- and so I go to Hogwarts! I just live in the states with my grandparents 'cause my parents wanted me to grow up in a wizarding house." She said thinking again about Gram. Which reminded her she needed to mail a letter to her and tell her about everything. "How come you've never seen your grandparents?" Tora asked Isobel forgetting, like always when she was curious, that it was probably a very rude think to ask.
