If she was being completely honest some of it was confusing her, though she probably wouldn't say that aloud.

"So what's it like for you?" Kahlan asked, trying not to outright say 'what's it like being a muggleborn', just in case he took offense, and also because she was curious as to what his thoughts about Hogwarts so far were. Truthfully, she was beyond curious. She herself was rather sick of the entire pureblood thing when it came to her more obsessed family members.

Though now after asking she felt as though she should offer any help if he needed it... maybe after she found out how he felt about it?

"Definitely, I love Quidditch, I've been playing since I was little... both my parents and my brother went to Luxembourg Quidditch Academy" she explained with a smile, sort of hoping that he understood that she probably knew as little as he did about Hogwarts itself. "Are you going to?" she continued, not really sure if he'd learnt how to fly yet or not considering he was't from a magical family.
Forrest hesitated between being fully honest and a Pollyanna. Eh, she must have noticed his hesitation, so better to be honest. That's how you made friends anyway, wasn't it?

"It's a little scary, actually," he started, holding her gaze in the process to see whether she thought he was a freak. "I mean... there are so many things I've never heard of, and... I miss my old life-style." The TV, following Tottenham's matches, the video games and hanging out with his friends in the city and cinemas and all... Not that he did all these every week--he was lucky if he'd gone out once in a month, but still... it was much more apalling than being stuck in a dirty and broken castle.

"But I'll get used to it," he quickly added, because that kinda sounded like he was comparing his life-syle with hers and that was rude.

Forrest was impressed. Even though he didn't know whether Luxembourg Academy was good, he assumed it was, by the way she put it.

It was time for his eyes to return their normal size, thank you.

"I--uh, no," he muttered, mind still hazy for having met the sister of a professional Quidditch player. "I don't even know what it exactly is." He grinned sheepishly. "But if you make it into team, I'll watch your games."
