Maybe she was just a really heavy sleeper?

Nathaniel had eaten all of the food on his plate by now. Not the best food he'd had,but it was edible nonetheless. Oh, Boss Lady was offering for other people to cook?! "I'm a pretty decent cook" he said to no one in particular. After all, he did have to cook for himself every night and EC was starting to eat real people food.
