We r Gryffies.)
And now he was arguing with her about Common Rooms. She didn't KNOW how bad it was because she hadn't gone in there, hadn't he been listening? Were his ears blocked up or something? Alice shot him another irritated look and proceeded to ignore every single word that came out of his mouth from that moment on and focus all her attention on the Headmistress, because the Head Boy was an absolute imbecile as far as she was concerned.
She did have a grandfather, and she.. maybe would owl him. Maybe. If he wouldn't tell gran about things, which he totally would. But how exactly was she FAILING to LEAD? It wasn't even her job to lead. Her job was QUIDDITCHING and SCHEDULING and BLOWING A WHISTLE and THROWING QUAFFLES AT JAKE KELLER. Honestly. If anyone was doing a bad job of leading, it was Oakey Gunter, and Alice shot him a million more annoyed glances during the course of the Headmistress' rant.
She remained unfazed, though- wasn't like a Bunz the color of a tomato was SCARY- and turned back to Dora after the redhead had stomped away in her pretty little heels. "It does. New information. We can use galleons and sickles too. We can't live in the corridor or the RoR. The Board is maybe possibly raising funds. And we can get into the Kitchen." So this actually WAS a productive evening, see?
Alice tugged Dora off the couch and out of the seating area, waving a bit at Nessie and shooting Oakey another look. "Let's bounce. We've got things to do."
"Pity, I was looking forward to sharing floor space with you." Cause it would have been fun. But this trip was needed to get all this information and pass it along to their housemates and friends. Which was pretty much all the other houses.
She surrendered her arm to Alice and raised up off the couch.
"Have fun cleaning your common room Hufflepuffs." They got the briefest of waves before Alice had pulled her out of the waiting area and into the corridor to Merlin knows where. She had a small idea.
