Questions were being formed. They remained there, right on the tip of her tongue, ready for rapid firing. Bring the Bunz on, Alice was PREPARED.
"We can try it out after this if you like," It had to be clean and free of some charge system she hoped. If not then maybe they could just stay in HERE for a while since this couch was kinda nice. She wondered if the headmistress cleaned this herself or not.

The other two were the Gryffindor Captain, and a Ravenclaw Girl he had not yet fully met. Although he was positive her name was Isabella, or something close to that, or whatever. "Hey" Oakey said sitting down on the couch. His voice was straining already from trying to grab all the puffer's attention down at the kitchen.
Dora didn't say anything back, but she did acknowledge him and his friend with a wave. They were probably here for the same reason... maybe more noble since they were Hufflepuffs and all.
She didn't really care though, so long as they were going to help and not hinder her and Alice.

"It's not fair to us. I don't have any knuts on me, so even if I wanted to pay and get into my common room, I couldn't. Why do we have to pay in the first place? I get that Hogwarts is bankrupt, but why do WE the students have to pay just to get into our common room? Why every single time? Why not just once? Is there not another way so we don't have to carry all those knuts around?" "Do we have to pay for other things as well? And can we cook our own meals cause the meal tonight was subpar, and I'd rather just cook my own meals if allowed." She'd also cook for her friends too, that kind of went without saying.
"Is this how Hogwarts plans on getting it's money back? By charging students with no source of income for room and board?" She was genuinely curious as these were things she need to KNOW before she went about writing letters and planing how to make this term work under these circumstances.
There were a few more questions she had, but she saved them all and waited to see if Alice or head boy Oakey (she saw that badge) had some they wanted to ask the headmistress.
