"Ah, yes, Althea," she finally said, turning around towards the girl, but without actually looking at her. Ivy took a seat in her chair behind her desk. "Sit," she ordered, gesturing to the couch. She straightened a small stack of papers on her desk. "Go on, then." Let's talk.
Minerva wondered if she was ever going to look at her. Not that the books weren't amazing to look at, but shouldn't a professor acknowledge the student. As the professor turned Minerva tried to give her a smile, but she still didn't seem to really look at her. Was this the right professor Shirmer was talking about? Min was starting to wonder when she was ordered to sit. Well that just made her a little more nervous, she was suppose to open up to this woman about her charms score and her future, but the woman couldn't even be friendly. What if she just laughed and sent her away.
Sitting she fidgeted nervously and took a deep breath, first this professor did need to know she wasn't just some dumb student coming in to ask for extra help.
"Well professor, first I would like you to know that I am typically pretty good at Charms and learned many things under Professor Shirmer, so it came as a shock to me when I got my OWLs scores back this term and I had received an A." Shock was an understatement, she felt bad for as moody as she had been for a few days after getting those scores.
"Well I had written to Professor Shirmer and we got talking about my scores, and she showed disappointment in that score as well, especially when I had mentioned that I would like to pursue a career in healing. She expected better out of me and I expected better out of myself as well." Frowning at the thought of disappointing someone Minerva fidgeted again nervously.
She hated how nervous she was about all of this,
"It was under her advice that I come see you and see if there was some extra lessons I could get or books to study to help improve my Charms ability and up my performs and score on my NEWTs seventh year." Looking at the professor she was a little [s] a lot [/b] terrified of her reaction and thoughts.
