He ruffled his hair out of impulse with his one hand and chuckled, "Pen, I have no idea where I'm going. You really think I was following you?" Why? Did she NEED to be followed? Was she up to something?
At least these benches still seemed to be in order. They weren't collapsing under their weight or anything, so that was a good sign Hogwarts wasn't completely going under even with only one elf to do all the cleaning and cooking and maintenance and whatever else elves did. But then agian she herself didn't weigh all that much, so they really only had to worry about him since he was a giant. Clearly. Heh.
"Do I need to keep tabs on you, Asparagus?" she asked, smirking. And if he needed help with getting around the castle, he knew all he had to do was ask. She was more than happy to help him find his way. Hogwarts was a pretty big castle, and she remembered how long it had taken her to find everything in her first year. She still sometimes got lost even.
Then she grinned again. "You could've been. Maybe you were following me because you didn't know where you were going."
