What was with the staring, people? She wasn't really all
that late for the feast. The headmistress hadn't even started her speech yet! Which of course meant that there was no food which was always a sad fact. On the subject of food, Elise looked down only to find a paper plate and plastic cutlery in the place of the usual porcelain and silverware. What was all this? Were the house elves on strike or something? OR were they just going fully Muggle, cause Elise didn't do well in Muggle environments.

Elise heard something whizzing towards her and Quidditch instincts kicking in, raised her hand and caught the offending piece of plastic inches away from her face.
"Wh-" she muttered under her breath before looking up at a very familiar
and really quite charming Branxton.
"Favouritest isn't a word, Mo," she smirked with a small shrug. And the boy called himself a Ravenclaw.
...
"And thank you." Cue the tomato face.

Then it was Beezus who noticed her not-so-sneaky appearance. Shoot. She should've known that the prefect would have seen her slip into the seat about fifteen minutes later than she should have and demanded a solid reason for her disappearance. Classic Beezus style, complete with the Castell-Demanding-Face.
"At the lake," she said simply, not even offering very much of an explanation.
"I needed some space to think." That was all, Bee. Honestly. Elise didn't lie, especially not about trivial things like these. There was nothing to worry about.
