She didn't mean to be quite so indifferent about it but Sarah's analogy didn't make things any better for her in the way of understanding. She didn't see why she couldn't have everything she wanted just because someone else needed to have some too. When her father made dinner she had as much as she wanted and in fact if they had to limit stuff she wouldn't care whether Jessa ate or not. It wasn't her problem and she wouldn't pretend it was. To that she simply shrugged from lack of knowing what else to say. Her thoughts were safe in her mind. Out loud they probably made her sound selfish--which she knew she was. Did she care? Nooooope. She came first. Everyone else was second. Well...her friends could be first with her and she could switch between priorities but with the wider population, she didn't give rat's hat.

She tilted her head and gave her a curious look. "Why do you need someone cleaning your mess? It's yours, you either keep it or clean it up. It shouldn't be anyone else's concern." Her room wasn't usually clean but she didn't need anyone cleaning it for her either.

And now she was being told about wants and needs. They were pretty much the same for her. If she saw something that she wanted then she automatically needed it. Duh. She laughed though, because Sarah was being funny. The brand of humour this girl had entertained Lex so she wasn't about to get upset at anything she said. Sarah meant well--she always did. GRIN. "That's...er...a rather interesting way of looking at it, I'll admit. I didn't think of it that way before." Their minds were so different. That amused her too.

OH BUT LOOK AT THAT!!!

She was meant to find somewhere to sit with Lottie!! Eeep!! "Good running into you Sarah! We have to finish catching up at the feast, we share a table and a Common Room afterall." BEAM. Then she hurried down the corridor. No need to keep Lottie waiting.
