Lex got through two steps before she heard someone talking to her, asking annoying questions. She turned slowly and took in the familiar Slytherin before her.
Was it that obvious? Pity. She couldn't leave things like that. This was NOT bothering her. No way. She didn't care, or well she was trying not to care therefore she couldn't look like there was something off. Lex rushed a smile onto her face, a grin really because those were more convincing. Everyone knew that. "Nah, I'm fine, just...not looking forward to the speech, you know?" And this conversation wasn't going to be about her either. "Ready for Third Year?" She wasn't. She hated it already.
It was obvious that Lex didn't want to talk about what exactly had bothered her. Isabel inwardly shrugged. if she didn't want to she wouldn't push her. It was none of her business,she would let it slide. Though she had never seen the Gryffindor so put off.
now physically shrugging, Isabel addressed the gryffindor.
"Yeah I understand what you mean,the headmistress should really consider how every one else feels having to hear her boring worn out speeches,ya know?"
Isabel was more than ready for third year it would be her best one yet,that was for sure.
"yeah definitely, looking forward to it ,I'm going out with a bang this year for sure,ya know"
Isabel was getting really pumped thinking about it for the fact that she had a knack for saying 'ya know' at the end of all her sentences.
