There were plenty she could think of that did that to her. Amanda was a pure muggle but Lex bet if she'd gone to Hogwarts she would have been a Slytherin with the way she acted.

"Eehhh...you could. Just whisper so the Professor holding the hat doesn't give you funny looks--ooo and use the most adorable voice you can conjure up. If you get caught chances are they'll just shake their heads and think you're nothing but a spoiled child brought up incorrectly. It might not sound so good but they'll be more likely to feel sorry for you and won't lock you down in the dungeons." In theory that is.

She took Felix when he was handed back to her and felt him snuggling up against her neck.

"No problem, couldn't have you going through the corridor lugging that thing." Nah. Not everyone had use for a firstie, she could get herself hexed...though if she thought about it, she was one of the few people she'd ever heard talking about hexing people. Now that she thought about...the students here were rather odd.
