She paused for a moment, then added, "Although I think I am slightly more inclined towards Ravenclaw. It was my mother's house." She explained.
And she had inherited her mother's love for books and knowledge.
"Interesting..." Lex commented. She was listening, caught every word too but for now she was focusing on her foot, the one that wasn't hurting as much now but was still just a little off.
It was good this one could follow instructions so well! People in her army needed to be able to do that. Cough. Cough. Just saying.
"It's real neat too! I think Slytherin runs more on my Daddy's side of the family--he was a snake too but my Mum was a Hufflepuff...I'm not sure what the others on her side were though..." She tried to remember but nothing was coming so she just gave up on that bit.
"I wanted to be a Ravenclaw too...it didn't happen and I ended up having to try eating the sorting hat--which, by the way, isn't made any better by adding gravy." That had to be said, just in case Aanya wanted to try too.
"Oh and here we are." She stopped pulling the trunk when they finally got there.
"You should remember this place so your ride back isn't much of a danger to people either." Snicker.
