See? Loooook he was still staring. She tilted her head slightly and gave him an even more curious look.
"Hey Mister, why are you staring at people so much. They'll think you're creepy then you won't have any friends." Oh and he was asking for her ticket? She could do that...just...
"What's my motivation? Will I get complementary candy?" SPOILER!!: Aanya

"I am so, SO sorry," she said, trying to pull her trunk up onto the train again, but then the girl smiled and, after a moment of uncertainly blinking at the older girl, Aanya returned the smile.
Well, wasn't she nice.
And this was after Aanya had possibly fractured her foot.
The luggage compartment? She had no idea where that was. "Oh. Right." Nodded the little girl vigorously, then followed with, "Could you, maybe, show me where the luggage compartment is?"
Because obviously, the little one had been so excited about getting on the train that she hadn't noticed that there was a luggage compartment. Neither had the girl noticed that no one else was trying to shove their trunks onto the train like she was.
Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
And here she thought she was Ravenclaw material.
"Oh it's fine." Lex lied, the smile still settled on her face. Her foot. it HURT. She tried giving it a little rotating action just to make sure nothing was amiss but quickly abandoned that when a sharp pain greeted her. Yeah, kid was lucky she was probably a first year and at any rate she was new. This was her get out of jail free card. She'd just used it.
Help? She wanted help?
"Sure, of course I can! It's not that hard to find actually...but then, you're new so that might not be all that true. I'm Alexa by the way, Third Year Gryffindor in Charge," BEAM,
"and you are?"
Introductions were important. They were what stayed with you long after the term started. They were what decided if someone would dive at a man-eating plant for you or not. If only Milton knew. Sigh. If only. Could have saved himself the trouble and the near death experience. Now he was off in the big world and he probably wouldn't last a day. They tried to warn him, her and Lottie but he wasn't exactly the smartest 'Claw so...yeah.
"And how's about this? You carry my kneazle," She said, gesturing to the one tucked away in her arms,
"and I'll carry the trunk?" She didn't fancy having it fall on her or anyone else again, thank you very much!
