So they were taking the boys to get ice cream, and they were all dressed up in their Sunday best, and Wes wasn't allowed to ask anymore questions, and Izzy was looking really very distracted, and he was wearing a suit... all for what reason now? Eh??

It was plain to see that Wes Ferguson was a little bit confused as he trailed after Izzy and the boys toward Florean Fortescue's that day. He was more than happy to spend his birthday with his family, of course, but why they had to spend it in Diagon Alley beat him. What was wrong with laying around the house all day? He could easily eat ice cream in his pajamas.

He shook off these thoughts as a little version of himself went tearing ahead of them into the celebration room. "Whoops," Wes chuckled, picking up the pace to jog after the boy. "He's a bit too much like me someti---"

Wes stopped mid-sentence in the middle of a room full of crowded people, people whom he... totally recognized??? Whaaaaat? Wes' nose crinkled and his face wrinkled with even more confusion as he turned back around to look for Izzy. And Scott. And... what, waaaaaaiiit, waittttt a hot minute here, was that Damien Jackson in the corner??!?!

"What's going on?!" the 40-year-old demanded to know of the group at large. He spotted Dorian and Roxanne ~~heheheheh~~, that Magical Creatures lady, Tasha, some YATI, some non-YATI... uh was this some kind of secret Ministry function he was crashing????
