20. Knitting Charm
Minerva couldn’t believe she had forgotten.
Here she was, one of the new professors for the term, and she had forgotten to get a Christmas gift for her pick until a moment of realization Christmas Eve.
And she had wound up picking the headmaster’s name to boot.
The transfiguration professor struggled to think of what she could possibly do in her predicament, dreading saying the truth even though she doubted Dumbledore would be too upset over it. Or at least not punish her for her oversight. More likely she’d get more flak from her fellow professors.
She had been very nearly about to go into bed defeated when an idea came to her. The woman digging around her study for some yarn, eventually coming across a ball she liked for her project and setting an appropriate spell into motion.
One pair of multi-colored wool socks coming up.
