Ethan nodded. That tracking charm was quite useful, especially after he had first gotten Elise and she wanted to explore before actually getting to know where she belonged. Green eyes wandered to the faces in the crowd, looking for the one Minerva mentioned. "I'm sure she's around here somewhere.. where's the last you saw her?" Laura was certainly an odd character, but she was Min's friend so he was concerned.. he'd look out for her too. He grinned at her kiss on the cheek, hugging her back at chuckling at her words. "That's what I figured.. I picked it up as soon as I saw it. Good thing I went back for that second cup of espresso before we left," he said with a wink. "It's just too bad it won't work where we're going.." He did get attached to that thing over the summer. He looked at her curiously as she suddenly backed away, then realizing and giving his mum a sheepish grin before averting his eyes. He knew it probably wasn't a big deal, but was slightly uncomfortable for some reason all the same.
Meloria watched the two teenagers interact, hanging back just a bit. They really were adorable.. she thought Minerva suited Ethan quite well. She chuckled a bit as they seemed a little awkward to show even the slightest affection in front of her, though she was sure she knew what it was about. "No need to apologize dear," she said with a smile. She nodded a little and smiled a bit broader. "Oh, yes.. she was quite impressed with your eagerness to learn as well as your kindness with the patients." The blonde woman nodded again. "I'll be sure to let her know.. and let you know if the position would be available again. And yes, I would hope to see you both during Christmas break again." Her absolute favorite time of the year.. what would it be without her only child? Pulling out her camera, she gave Ethan a grin. "Alright, you two.. stand closer together.. I want to get a picture before I go."

Riverlynn Bay had made it past the wall of doom. She was still a bit shaken up but the worst part was over...right? Her little body shivered again as he mind replayed having to run at a seemingly solid wall. That had probably been one of the most scary moments in her short life. And to think...she would have to do that again...six more times!
Shaking her head Bay went back to pushing her trolley. The train was here but she wasn't quite sure how to get her things on board. People were everywhere and pushing every which way. The 11 year old got turned around and then shoved. Stomping her foot she shoved the person who had shoved her and then stopped her trolley.
How rude!
Feeling dejected and totally alone Bay sat down hard on the end of her trolley and put her head in her hands. So far her day sucked....
Minerva watched Elise wonder off and Fluffy bounced on her shoulder.
"Fine, but if you get lost.." She put the puff down and let her scamper after Elise.
"Yes, these two will need time together." She smiled watching them go off playing, glad that the little fluff ball warmed up to Elise during her stay at Ethan's.
Looking around she sighed,
"Honestly I don't remember, I got in my bag to make sure I had everything and that's when I realized my IPod was missing and I guess my focus got distracted." She'll turn up, I'm sure of it, Minerva thought and shrugged it off for a bit. Speaking of the IPod she smiled at it and put it back in her bag.
"Yes I am glad you went back and found it." She frowned at the thought of it not working,
"I know, I have always hated that, but it's okay. I still just like to have it and my phone close by. I would hate to lose them." Giving a sheepish look to Mrs. McCarthy she wasn't exactly sure how they felt about her muggle side yet, that wasn't really ever a conversation that had come up.
Always seconding guess her abilities, and probably the reason why she hadn't gotten all O's on her exams Minerva's smile grew as Ethan's mom talked about how her friend felt about her performance this summer.
"That's great she really thought that. I learned so much this summer, I really think it is what I want to do." Giving Ethan's mom a quick hug,
"Thank you again, for everything." She was truly grateful at how welcoming his parents had been to her and how much they helped her find her possible future career.
"Oh yes, if a position was there I would love to have it again, that's if you can deal with me for another summer." she gave a grin half joking, but half not, they might get annoyed with her being around all the time. Oh future planning.. Christmas already..Minerva smiled, she use to worry about planning even a few weeks ahead, but after the summer some things had changed,
"Yes, as long as Ethan wants me around Christmas break sounds great. It helps my grandparents as well, then they don't have to pay for a plane ticket for me." As much as she would love to see them on Christmas she had never spent one with them, because of the money. Glancing at Ethan she wondered how he felt about a picture, but she got closer to him and smiled.
That's when she noticed behind Ethan's mom a small girl. She seemed to be alone and not doing to well. Looking around she didn't see any possible adult with her. Frowning Minerva figured she was most likely a first year, and by the look wasn't having such a good day.
"Umm Ethan, I'll be right back." She walked over towards the girl carefully not wanting her to be scared or anything.
"Hello" She smiled nicely and talked softly.
"Are you here alone?" Minerva bent down to be at the girls level, still smiling,

Minerva looked up and sighed with relief,
"Where did you go? I thought I lost you..I was not facing your mom if I had to write to her to tell her I had lost you." Eyeing Laura, she was worried about her friend. She wasn't herself and Minerva wanted to figure out why.
"Hey you okay?" Giving her a quick reassuring hug,
"Thinks will get back to normal soon.. Once we are back at school. You'll see, and I'm in the same dorm if you need me, don't think your bothering me at all, got it?" She wasn't letting Laura feel sad and not know about it again this term. She wasn't sure how she had gotten it past her last term, well she did it was a bit of a bad term, but Minerva was sure it was going to be better this term and she would have a better focus on things around her.
