A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

“The only job I really know of is the Auror's.” Natasha added thinking back. No other jobs had ever been mentioned, that she could remember.
Daichi smiled when she shook his hand. Not alot of first years did that. They were either a little hesitant or nervous but it seemed that she wasn't when she shook his hand. He placed his hands in his pockets and leaned against the trolley.

Auror's? He hadn't thought about that job to be honest. "I don't think being an Auror is something for me..." he admitted. He wasn't exactly the best when it came to magical abilities. Merlin's beard he still blew things up! "Sounds like you want to become one , you have to study really hard then" from what he had heard.

"Daichi?" she asked, giving him a stare. "Well, what does that supposed to mean anyway?" It wasn't like she had a common name, still Daichi looked alien, didn't it?
Model student of the school?

His cheeks blazed a deep red color when he heard that. He never thought of himself as a model student. Sure, he liked helping others and that was probably why he had become a Prefect. He willed his cheeks to cool off as he listened to the question if the Headboy or girl was a Slytherin as well. "No" he answered. "the Headboy was a Slytherin last year. This year from what i heard in Diagon Alley are two Hufflepuffs" so they had to deal with Puffer Headboy/girl, Puffer Prefect, Puffer Headmistress and the fact that Puffers always won the quidditch and house cups...Mweh

He started to laugh however when she asked about his name. "It's Japanese" he chuckled. "And no i amnot from Japan and neither is one of my parents." his father is English and his mother was Korean.

When another kid arrived , Daichi noticed that she was together with the other little girl. It felt weird being surrounded by little first years but he guessed that it was his job. being a Prefect was babysitting sometimes. "I am" he answered and then had to think. To be honest, he had no clue how to become one. He hadn't been exactly a model student inhis earlier years. *forgetting* homework, trying to lie, stealing, skipping class and the best thing. He had punched a Professor before. So yeah, not exactly Prefect material you'd say eh?

"I guess you can become one if you help others while staying humble?" cause that's how he thought it worked. "Maybe have some leadership traits?" which they had to dig deep down from him... but the main thing is, don't strife to become a Prefect. Professors and your head of house will notice it if you only help to become a Prefect. It doesn't work that way." he said, his voice sounded more leader like than before. "Plus from the Leaders last year i know for a fact that some of them including me were a little surprised when we gotten the badge" which he thought was a far more better feeling than KNOWING you'd be one. Also, people who strifed towards being a Prefect often feel let down when they didn't become one anyway.
