OBVIOUSLY.
‘No, I came here to stare at the pretty floor’, Gwendolyn said sarcastically. ‘Of course I left something important’. Eye roll. Why else would she have been back there? But anyway- since Mordred had been around the luggage compartment in the past minutes, maybe he might have seen Jinx and would help?
Gwen doubted that.
Not after she had been that rude. Erm. It wasn’t even worth to try and ask for help. Besides, it was not the best thing to admit that she had forgotten her cat. What kind of an owner would forget their pets? Well… Gwen, apparently. But that’s not the point.
And here he was...trying to be friendly...which was pretty rare for the Slytherin...and what did he get in return? An eyeroll. If she was going to be rude...
"Fine by me." Mordred smirked.
"This should be fun." "First of all, hello to you too. Second, I wasn't asking if you lost something. It was a statement." Mordred then looked at the floor.
"Whether or not you are sarcastic about the floor...you have poor taste my fellow student." he thought as he looked up and smirked at her big time.
He didn't have to be a smartypants like Gwen to figure out that she lost something. Mordred would love to search every nook and cranny of this compartment for her lost item, but since she was being
too touchy he'd definitely play along-- the Slytherin way.
"Have you looked here?" Mordred gestured towards a pile of trunks and kicked it with his leg, causing the topmost trunk to fall.
Smirkity smirk smirk...hopefully her lost thing wasn't anywhere in between those trunks.
"Oops."
