Mordred crossed his arms and waited for the young lady to turn around and face him. He wasn't going to talk to her back, because one-- it was rude and two-- he'd look stupid. He already did look stupid earlier before she arrived and he won't let anyone see him look like a love-struck puppy. Ella may be an exception though because she plays the best friend role here.
Anyway.
As soon as the young man saw the person's face, his face softened a bit. It was Gwen, the girl who liked to draw. "Hey." Mordred unfolded his arms and placed his hands inside his pockets. "You left something important, I believe." he said and grinned at her.
Gwen continued to look around for the black cat, but she got distracted when she heard the Slytherin say something. Left something important?
OBVIOUSLY. ‘No, I came here to stare at the pretty floor’, Gwendolyn said sarcastically.
‘Of course I left something important’.
Eye roll. Why else would she have been back there? But anyway- since Mordred had been around the luggage compartment in the past minutes, maybe he might have seen Jinx and would help?
Gwen doubted that.
Not after she had been that rude. Erm. It wasn’t even worth to try and ask for help. Besides, it was not the best thing to admit that she had forgotten her cat. What kind of an owner would forget their pets? Well… Gwen, apparently. But that’s not the point.
