Lottie did notice someone wiggling fingers at her. She was hoping that person wouldn't be Dustbin, and it wasn't! It was Addy. She liked Addy, she was Spike's girlfriend and a very logical Ravenclaw. So she got a WIDE smile and finger wiggles too.

She might stop by later, though, because she had Milton-business to attend to.

Text Cut: L-squared is pretty awesomeeee! (Milton and Lex)

"Yeah, what she said." Nodnodnod. Important business, in fact it was super important business because they'd be saving his life--if they could.

"So we were talking and we got to realize that maybe...just maybe you can't be as dumb as you pretend to be--either that or that you're good at this cheating thing but anywaaaay, that's not the point. You beat the system and managed to be graduating like everyone else that has a brain." Praise worthy stuff right there. The boy wasn't supposed to be smart enough to graduate from anything.

She paused, thinking Lottie might like to add a few things while they were breaking the good news to him; news she suspected he'd be happy to hear, right Milton?

He was happy to know that he showed signs of having brain activity, yeah?

But there was still the matter of him leaving to be discussed. First, Lottie, then the leaving, unless she brought up the leaving in which case that would come right next.

YES. Exactly! 'Uh-oh', Milton.

They weren't exactly waiting for his permission to explain the entirety of their former discussions, no, but it was nice to know Milton will be listening, we're not too sure he'll understand.

Lottie was still beaming, especially when Lex agreed with her initial wording. Excellent. And then her Gryffindor friend started to explain what this whole business was about. ANDTHESECONDYEARHOGWARTIAN...was about to take a seat next to Milton...without being invited to...but then she chose to keep her standing position because otherwise she'd look so short and like a kid on that bench.

"Not-being-dumb was easily discarded, we're going with either cheating...," and there was something extremely important, "...or luck." BEAM. People got things thanks to hard work, really, not merely luck. The way she spoke, made it all sound like it was a good thing, or that they weren't exactly insulting him. Which they weren't, she was. "We did find something interesting." Oh, because he was not interesting? "People have always help you. They clearly must like you." That's as much a compliment as you'll get from Lottie, though. "Which is why the logical thing for you to do...if you want to stay alive...," go on, Lex, you can finish this.
