Gradually, it all built up inside her and she burst out with the exact word she'd written to West when it had happened. "Gone," she whispered. "He's g-gone." A tear trickled down her cheek and she quickly wiped it away. "Mydaddied." The words came out in a rush, but once they were out, she felt slightly better. Though, it was proving difficult to keep herself together.
