Airey shot Miss Cambridge a NOT reassuring look. He had heard about Mr. Katharos and his spellwork - the tendency for things to explode that is - and he wasn't too sure about her spell abilities. He DID, however, know that she tended to get easily distracted.
So, no please. No experimenting by students on the professor, please.
And then Cece showed up and too Miss Cambridge's candy. "Got any Bertie Bott's in there?" he asked jokingly with a smirk before his face dropped. "I did not let a student do this to me!" he grumbled defensively. "I did it to myself." Grin.

Okay, so his toy was now snipped in half by a well placed spell from Medea and it made the astronomy man!wibble for a moment. SHE HAD BROKE HIS TOY! This was WAY worse than sticking him to his door. He needed to....oh, now there was an idea.
Piercing blue eyes growing even wider and jaw hanging open like a codfish, Airey let out a loud man!shriek and gripped his right index finger with the entirety of his left hand. "MY FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGER!"
