As if she was the magician and he was the spectator and he had just come back from grabbing some sweets during intermission. Alec shook his head and grinned at Dora a little sheepishly. She didn't mind that he was sitting there right next to her, right? How else was he meant to get a great view of the magic show? And speaking of the show... his grey-blue eyes flitted down towards the flower and he grinned some more. "That's really awesome, you know. Well done, Dora!" Gentle!nudge. And she was planning on making it GLOW. Holy Superman! "I... how would you do something like that?"
... Oh. Right! Greeting! Duh, Summers! "Oh! Hey!" he said, looking back up at the girl, "Erm... you don't mind me joining you, right?" It would be a little awkward if the girl then went on to say that she did mind him sitting right there. ... He didn't think of that...
"It's not that awesome, I've been trying to get it to change to a fiery red and glow, but it's not happened yet." Dora wasn't too bothered by her inability to preform the spells to her satisfaction like she had been before. She had company now, and that was way better. She rubbed at her cheek and glanced back at the purple weed, shrugging her shoulders carelessly.
"There's a charm for them both. I've done the color changing one before, but never the glowing." Her eyes turn back to him.
"You don't know the spells?" Should she be surprised considering their charms professor?
When she was sure her face was back to it's normal shade, she grinned at him and moved her hand back to her lap.
"No I don't mind at all. Unless you've got something else you wanted to do." If not he could change flower colors WITH her.
