A disheartened Ashby retrieves the quaffle and launches it back into play to teammate McCarthy, who is quick to loop around, evading a charging Yarborough, and takes off toward the other end of the pitch! As Yarborough gains ground on him, McCarthy passes to an open Beatrice Castell - but not for long! Both Wisteria and Dixon fly directly at Castell - Castell ducks, flying toward the ground, but quickly pulls up on her handle and tosses the quaffle upward toward Branxton, who was waiting by the hoops - Branxton doesn't hesitate - he aims, he shoots.... DING! Marcus Branxton makes a beautiful goal for Ravenclaw!
