Kennedy had been avidly watching what was going on. De Talone wasn't spilling any beans and he was eager to hear what she had to say in her defense. It was sort of annoying, the woman was. Kennedy wrinkled his nose when she spoke. She should have more respect for Roxanne Carter. The woman seemed important enough since she got to interview the red head.
His eyebrows rose when Roxanne Carter left. What...happened? Did De Talone really get to her? Meh, Carter probably had her reasons. Not too long after that, the door opened and his green eyes were on the newcomers.
... Babies.
Was all his mind could process at the moment. Babies. He had just left one before coming in today, and he had just seen two the day before and the day before that...and the day before that one. He gave a subtle head shake to snap out of it. He watched the two men, one of which presented himself as Wes Ferguson, their Department Head.
When they were called by their title, Kennedy followed after Simon and Genevieve. They weren't going to be put on babysitting duty just 'cause they were new, right? Well, him and Genevieve that is.
