His shoulders sunk a little lower as the tears continued to fall.
She just didn't hear him. That was it.
Kyroh slid off the chair, and took a few steps closer to his mother. Maybe if he told her from here she would hear him? Maybe-his small eyes quickly fixed on the lady who wasn't his friend at all.
She had heard him.
She had heard him and Glo hadn't. Glo wasn't listening but the mean lady was AND she was calling him a baby. She was calling him a baby even though he wasn't. But he probably looked like one because the tears wouldn't even stop falling and they just wouldn't STOP and he wanted them to. Kyroh's fists curled up into fists. "I'm NOT even a baby." The boy yelled loudly. "I don't even WANT to be friends with you. If I was a dragon I'd eat you! I'd bite your head off." And EAT her. For lunch, JUST like that! JUST like-suddenly the robe closest to the woman, the same one he had been touching erupted in a ball of flames. Quote:

The brunette's eyes grew wide, then wider still as Kyroh stood up to the witch. Oh dear... had this not been in the middle of Knockturn Alley, Gloria might have given her son a pat on the back AND a round of applause. But as it were... she hastily turned toward the fiery velvet robe and tossed her shrunken robe containing potions ingredients on top of it.
The fire escalated as it consumed the new, highly flammable fuel. "There's your potions ingredients," she sneered at the witch, grabbing her son's hand and quickly making for the door. "Too bad for you it WAS more valuable than flobberworm guts..."
She flashed a broad smirk in the other woman's direction and hastily shoved open the door to the street, dragging her dragon boy with her. ...and then the kid was there, shouting little insults at her that only made her smirk in amusement. IF he was a dragon? If's weren't threats, but Veronica wasn't worried about telling him that. She was more worried about the woman he was with...and the potions ingredients she held.
Then things changed in the blink of an eye, and in the end, Veronica was staring at the ruined ingredients, shaking her head. It was a loss--a big one, but...did the woman even realize Veronica had never paid for them? So it was really Veronica's loss?
Ehh...
There was a fire, so Veronica clutched her wand and dashed out the door. Some of the Alley's goons would take care of the fire.
