"Yes, the board is a big thing," Lourdes had to admit. It would be a great pleasure to be in the Board of Governors. Plus she was passionate about helping people, which is why she was here now. "But I've also got my responsibilities here too. I can't always be gone from the department." And she was secretly thankful that Victoria was offering help, though she might not mention that. It made her feel like she was asking too much from one employee. She'd also ask assistance from the liaison, Chevron, if the level needed some working while Lourdes was busy with the Board... if she gets the position.

Take her away from her work? "Oh no, I'm on break now. Finished everything before you came by." Lourdes was glad she did, so she could go with Victoria and introduce the new employees to her. "We could go now if you want." So..?
