Elise ran to the Astrophysics lab as soon as she'd had her lunch. It was their last day with their stars and the Ravenclaw wanted it to last as long as she could. Losing Lapin would be a total NIGHTMARE. So pulling on her lab coat and her goggles, she picked her star off its shelf and tried really hard not to cry.

Noticing that it was rather red-looking, Elise almost smiled. "Lapin," she said softly. "You're a Hufflepuff, not a Gryffindor!" So it was either too cold or had too little Helium, right? Right.

Doing what she usually did, she muttered a quick "Dextrini Potitus," with a tight circle and flick. It didn't work, however. Instead, the star turned a rather strange purplish colour. So that wasn't it. "Dextrini Potitus," she mumbled, flicking her wand downwards after the circle this time. At least Lapin returned to her red colour.

"Deminugasalis," she tried, performing the appropriate wand movement. Noticing the star return to its regular colour, she sighed in relief. It was a proud Puffer again.

No song for now, but she WOULD sing to it after class. She would return, Lapin. Be sure of it.

And with that, she put her stuff away again.
