When it finally was her turn Livia stepped up to the desk and gave the woman sitting there a confident and winning smile. "Good morning, I’d like to sign up my candidate Mr Atticus Alredge for the Hogwarts Board of Governor’s election." Taking up the quill she filled out the information needed in swift but still neat and legible hand writing.
Satisfied that the information was correct she pushed it towards the woman. Opening her purse she counted up the 100 galleons and placed it on top of her filled out registration paper. "I'm Livia Frost. Mr Alredge’s manager. I'm curious, why is the fee to be put on the ballot so large?" Livia had her assumptions and ideas but it was good to get things affirmed when you could rather than relying on your own instinct.
Victoria returned the woman's smile and nodded as the manager filled out the required information. Good, someone who knew what to do. Not that the blond would mind explaining, she was very used to repeating.
"Thank you Miss Frost," She said taking the form from the woman and placing it where it belonged. Now to the more important part, the money part. The secretary's eyes followed the manager's hands as they counted the money. Immediately, Victoria took them with another nod of her head and put them safely in the drawer. Charmed one.
Just as she was going to wish the woman a good day it turned out she had a question. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, Victoria paused looking for an answer. How was she supposed to know why 100 galleons were to be payed. She was a member of the Board of Electors yeah but she didn't decide on the fee. Oh wait maybe she did with the others. Smiling yet another time she turned to the woman and spoke, "I do not see it that large. And it is necessary because preparing the ballots needs to be funded." Also employees needed to be paid. "I'm sure you a manager will understand and so will the candidates." Who with no doubt wouldn't let the fee stop them from participating in the ballots.
""Any thing else I can help you with?" Any more curious questions. Text Cut: sweetpinkpixie Quote:

Not to mention probably make Mr. Phillips look like a nutcase and he certainly didn't want that.
Noticing the line, the dusty haired man stood at the back and waited his turn.
Maybe he would try it anyway.... Quote:

Also, Charles rather liked the boy and genuinely thought that he deserved a spot on the Board.
Oh GOOD. It was finally his turn.
Nodding to the gentleman, Charles picked up the writing implement and filled in the appropriate information on the piece of paper.
Was all that really necessary? Probably not, but it just looked more official that way. Charles even slid the man one of the cookies his little darling dumpling had made to show support for his candidate. "Remember, the quaffle is in your hands."
Heh. See that? Using the boy's slogan and all!
Once the paper work was done, Charles approached the other Ministry official and handed over a small white envelope with his and Carter's name written clearly on it and with the 100 galleon fee inside. "I believe I hand this to you?"
Turning to the next man in the line, the blond smiled at him and handed him the paper that needed to be filled. She waited till he was finished and took it from him checking the names and finally placing them on top of the other papers. All was going smoothly good. But where was the money.
Victoria checked the papers the man just handed and found the fee there, she retrieved them and put them into the drawer with a satisfied nod. At least this man didn't question this. "Thank you very much, that be it," She said turning up at him. "Have a nice day." Unless he needed anything else ? Text Cut: Chandler Montgomery Quote:

Seriously, 100 galleons just to have a name put on the ballot?
Taking the the papers from the man whom she knew to be Montgomery. She nodded and placed the form where it belonged. "Yes, thank you very much," She said but stopped seeing that NO money was here.
Turning her gaze up at the man she offered another artificial smile," Now only the 100 galleons fee is left," So yeah dig in your pockets manager. The ballots weren't for free. Text Cut: Dani Quote:

He had to ensure his candidate actually got onto the ballot sheet.
He walked over to the gathering of what he would assume were other managers. Obviously, why else would they be here? Besides, he already knew most of them. Not personally but he'd seen them around.
All he had to do now was stand in this line...right..?
He could do that. Quote:

That was just about all he needed, yes? Now then. Who was he meant to hand these galleons to? He looked around but they all seemed a bit occupied at the moment. More or less this meant more waiting. Meh. Nothing he could really do about that now.
So many managers. Wow. Double checking on the files and pushing them further on the other side of the table, she looked up at the new comer. "Good day mister," She said with a smile. A permanent smile she's been wearing since the beginning of the day.
"I believe you're here for the ballots?" She said reaching for a paper, unless the man was lost. Which would be weird because of the sign on the door. "If so, please fill out your name and the candidate's which you manage their business and would like to sign them up for the ballots," She said. "And then the 100 galleons fee," She finished with a grin. The money part was her favorite.
Oh but the man already did this. Victoria smiled at the man another time and took the paper from him, "All is good, Just the fee and you'll be done," she said. Why were people not paying RIGHT AWAY. Ahem.. Text Cut: Honora Aveleen O'Fay Quote:

Entering in a fashionable manner into the Ministry, and even more so up towards the sign up station, that frown on Honora's face turned right upside down when she saw Livia up at the front.
Honora waved ecstatically towards her before taking her place at the back of the line behind the tall man with the fancy hair.
And to the next person on the line. Victoria smiled for the millionth time and reached for the paper than needed to be filled," Good day Miss," She greeted the woman, "I believe you're here for the ballots," DUH "Please fill out his with your name, your candidate's name," She said pointing on the paper, "And you'd just have to pay the 1oo galleons fee and registering for the ballots will be done," She grinned at the money part. She needed to be paid you know. Text Cut: McFeisty Quote:

Her wand was tucked into a holster on her leg just in case anything went wrong. Her shoes clack-clacked as she walked forward closer to the table. "Hello" she smiled to everyone who worked at the Minister's office. Kezza placed the bag on the table. "I'm here to fill out the registration for Althea Schirmer" she smiled and reaching into her bag she pulled out the little bag-let of galleons and placed it on the counter.
Victoria liked this woman. Because the blond spotted the money right away as the manager retrieved the fee from her purse. Finally someone who didn't forget pr question. A larger smile for this woman. "Good day Miss," She greeted her. "You are at the right place," She said with a nod as she reached for the required paper. "Please fill out this with your name, your Candidate;s name and don't forget the fee," The one you're holding in your hand. Mhhm. "Tell me if you have any other questions," She said giving the woman place on the desk to fill out the paper.
