Later on, she heard a knock on her door. Lourdes had been having some recent visitors these days and that seemed really heartening. Looking up, she placed her book on her table before allowing the person on the other side of the door in. "Please come in," she said, hoping whoever was there could hear her voice. Lourdes sat straight, waiting for the person to enter her office.
