"Impiriano." Making the tight circular with her wrist flicking just the slightest, a light blueish bubble appeared around her. Lowering her wand, she turned to face the students. "You can see even after losing concentration on the shield, it will still hold, but not for long. The more damage taken against it, the sooner it will weaken and fall and you should be prepared when that happens."
The shield flickered and disappeared after a moment. "Stand up when you're ready to practice. I'd recommend practicing the wand movement and incantation separately to begin with so you get the hang of it. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We'll be moving onto the next shield shortly, and then...duels." OOC: The lesson will continue in about 24 hours, more or less. It was time for.. practice? Had Kat really not been paying attention the whole time. Goodness. But she took down notes of course. She probably wasn't that stupid to just sit there in class, staring blankly at Professor Romanos and the others as they answered her questions. Now was her chance to catch up, and practice the spell. She had the pronunciation down and ready. Kat only had to meddle with the hand movement, as it was a bit complicating. It was an honest opinion, you know.
She had her wand in hand as she practiced the movement. Circle and flick. Ciiiiiiircle and fliiiick. Goodness, why must they have to use two hand movements in one spell? It made things harder, but the challenging part of it interested the Slytherin. However not as interesting as the effect of the spell. She could use this, instead of using Protego... but the Shield Charm was her buddy and that couldn't be denied. Kat did the hand movement a few times before deciding to try the spell out.
"
Impiriano!" she said with the tight circle and flick of her wrist. Now, did that suffice?
